- Year 1: Fundamental courses including Technical & Professional Communication, Discrete Structure, Fundamentals of Software Engineering, Computer Architecture, Ethics & Professional Conducts, Operating Systems, System Analysis & Design, Database Concepts, Data Communication & Networking, and Programming Fundamentals.
- Year 2: Intermediate subjects such as Distributed & Parallel Computing, Object-Oriented Programming, Human-Computer Interaction, Information System Security, Data Structures & Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Science, Network & Data Security, and Software Project Management.
- Year 3: Advanced topics including Applied Programming, IT Project I & II, Web Systems and Technologies, Big Data Analysis, and Computer Graphics.
Entry Requirements
- STPM (Science Stream): Minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one Science/ICT subject.
- STAM: Minimum Grade Jayyid in any two subjects and a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics plus one Science/Technology/Engineering subject at SPM level or equivalent.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics plus one Science/Technology/Engineering subject at SPM level or equivalent.
- Diploma in Science and Technology (Level 4, MQF): Minimum CGPA of 2.75 and a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics plus one Science/Technology/Engineering subject at SPM level or equivalent. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.50 can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment.
- Diploma in Computing fields (Level 4, MQF): Minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough internal evaluation process.
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Computing fields: Minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval.
- Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Computing fields: Minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval.
- Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
- English Language Requirement: IELTS 5.0, TOEFL (PBT) 410, TOEFL (IBT) 34, PTE 47, MUET Band 3, or Cambridge English 154.
