Course Overview
The Bachelor of Interior Design (Hons) at City University equips students with theoretical, technical, and practical knowledge in interior design, preparing graduates for roles such as Interior and Spatial Designer, 3D Visualizer, and Furniture Designer.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses including Studio Interior Design 1, Interior Design Communication & Graphic, and Ergonomics & Human Factors.
- Year 2: Intermediate studies such as Studio Interior Design 3, Working Drawing and Documentation, and Sustainable and Green Design.
- Year 3: Advanced topics including Studio Interior Design 5, Research Method, and a six-month Practical Training.
Entry Requirements
- STPM/A-Level: Minimum Grade C (GPA 2.0) in two subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.0 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Architecture or related field: Minimum CGPA of 2.0.
- UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects, including Mathematics.
- International students: Minimum IELTS score of 4.0 or equivalent.
